In 1959, James Burton Branum, Jr. founded the Minco Gas Authority — among the first municipal natural gas companies in Oklahoma. What began in a modest office behind Branum's Variety Store on Main Street has grown into a vital community resource.

Starting New Service
- A $200 deposit is required to start a new service.
- A one-time New Customer Fee of $20.00 will be added to the first month's bill.
- When we turn gas on at the meter, someone is required to be present in the home to light pilots and verify safe and working order.
Billing & Due Dates
- Bills are due the 10th of the month. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the bill is due the next business day.
- The Monthly Minimum Fee is $8.00.
- A $10.00 Late Fee applies if the bill is not paid in full by the due date.
Non-Payment & Reconnection
- If your gas is turned off for non-payment, an additional $40.00 Reconnect Fee will be added to your bill.
- The total gas used, plus the fee, must be paid before your gas will be turned back on.

- Open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–4:00 PM (closed for lunch 12:00–1:00).
- Minco Gas Authority is closed on all federal holidays.
